Do they plow or somehow clear the trail of snow and ice in the winter?

No, but depending on how warm and/or sunny it is, the snow sometimes melts pretty quickly in the areas with full sunlight. This would be mostly the areas alongside Affton Athletic Club and Grants Farm and north from there - basically from Tesson Ferry to Watson or Sappington.
