Natchez Trace Camping


The Natchez Trace has several camping options, although there are a few long stretches without.

The National Park Service manages five campgrounds which are open only to cyclists (Kosciusko Welcome Center, Witch Dance, Tupelo, Colbert Ferry, and Totty Lane), and three more that are also open to RVs (Rocky Springs, Jeff Busby, and Meriwether Lewis).

Mississippi State Parks manages the Natchez State Park Campground and Tishomingo State Park.

There are also several commercially run campgrounds. Most of these cater to RVs; we recommend that you call ahead to make sure they can accommodate tent camping.
